Proof Research Zermatt TL3/SR3 Prefit 6.5 Creedmoor Carbon Fiber Barrel 22 inch

Proof Research Zermatt TL3/SR3 Prefit 6.5 Creedmoor Carbon Fiber Barrel 22 inch in Stock!

The Proof Research Zermatt TL3/SR3 Prefit 6.5 Creedmoor Carbon Fiber Barrel 22 inch is pre-fit for the Zermatt Arms TL3/SR3 action. Easy to install, the pre-fit Zermatt Arms shouldered barrels simply thread on.  Once on, it needs to be torqued down and the headspace doubled checked before heading to the range. Proof starts every CF barrel with full-profile match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel blanks that are turned down to a reduced profile. When reduced, the contour barrel is wrapped with high-strength, aerospace grade carbon fiber that has been impregnated with a proprietary matrix resin developed by Proof Research ACD. Carbon fibers diffuse heat along the length of the barrel, and moves the heat effectively through the walls of the barrel.  This in turn, greatly increases heat transport that results in faster cooling barrels. All of these features lead to maintaining accuracy over longer sessions of fire, and will live longer. Proof's carbon fiber barrels are not just lighter they are better than any other on the market today.

Every Proof Research Zermatt TL3/SR3 Prefit 6.5 Creedmoor Carbon Fiber Barrel 22 inch is guaranteed for headspacing and is specific to the action type/length and is not interchangeable.  Because of variance in actions, Proof does not guarantee the time and alignment of the barrel engraving to a specific stock line.
