Proof Research 224 BA Carbon Fiber Blank Barrel (12 Twist, Sendero) 24 inch in Stock!

The Proof Research 224 BA Carbon Fiber Blank Barrel (12 Twist, Sendero) 24 inch extends beyond reducing weight and increasing strength. Proof's patented manufacturing process starts with full-profile, match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel blanks. These blanks significantly reduce the weight by being turned down to a reduced profile. Once reduced, the contour barrel is wrapped with high-strength, aerospace grade carbon fiber that has been impregnated with a proprietary matrix resin, developed by Proof Research ACD. Carbon fibers difuse heat along the length of the barrel, and move the heat effectively through the walls of the barrel.  This in turn, greatly increases heat transport that results in faster cooling barrels. All of these features lead to maintaining accuracy, over longer sessions of fire, and will live longer. Proof's carbon fiber barrels are not just lighter they are better than any other on the market today.
