Another great feature of the SIX8 Pistol is LWRCi's super strong one piece bolt carrier, it is machined from one piece of steel to ensure ultimate strength and reliability. Their one piece carrier also has relief cuts machined in the rear of the carrier, these rearward cuts allow water and debries to pass through the receiver without damaging the rifle. This feature is ideal for water related missions and enviroments that are less than desirable. Furthermore, all of its gas piston components are nitrided treated including the piston cup, spring and spring cup, as well as case hardened to ensure longevity of these parts that are subjected to extreme temperatures.

LWRC SIX8 6.8 SPC Pistol 8.5 inch comes with LWRCi's enhanced monoforged upper receiver, featuring a solid 10 screw mounting system. This mounting system securly mounts the upper receiver to their 7 inch proprietary handguard. The top of the SIX8 Pistol's handguard is removable via its two thumb screws, Allowing quick access to all of the gas piston components for disassembly and cleaning.
