This LWRC SPR AR 15 Upper Receiver in Patriot Brown comes with a 1/7 twist cold hammer forged spiral fluted barrel. LWRCi's SPR comes with a spiral fluted heavy barrel that is nitride treated, this treatment is much more durable than traditional chrome lining and out performs chrome lining in every aspec. Furthermore the spiral fluting reduces the overall barrel weight by over 20 percent, as well as improves barrel cooling and barrel rigidity. All of the IC SPR Upper Receiver's gas piston componets are nitrided treated, including the piston cup, spring and spring cup, as well as case hardened to ensure longevity.
