The LWRC IC-PSD 5.56 Upper 8.5 inch (FDE) is LWRC Internationals ultra compact adjustable gas piston 5.56 AR 15 Upper Receiver. LWRCi's PSD AR 15 Upper Receiver in FDE is the perfect addition to any milspec AR15 Lower receiver, its light weight, super short design makes it the perfect choice to complete your next CQB Pistol or SBR build. This LWRC PSD Upper Receiver is outfitted with their own 1/7 twist cold hammer forged heavy barrel that is nitride treated. It's Nitride barrel treatment last twice as long a conventional chrome lining and out performs chrome lining in every way. All of the PSD Uppers gas piston componets are nitrided treated, including the piston cup, spring and spring cup, as well as case hardened to ensure longevity of these parts that are subjected to extreme temperatures. Furthermore, this PSD Upper is outfitted with LWRCi's super strong one piece nickel boron coated bolt carrier, this enhanced carrier also features rearward relief cuts for water submersion and water related missions. These rearward relief cuts allow the upper to fire with water in the barrel and mag, all water and debris simply clear out of the rear of the bolt carrier without damaging the upper.

LWRC IC-PSD 5.56 Upper 8.5 inch (FDE) comes has a strong monoforged upper receiver that features a solid 10 screw mounting system, this mounting system securly mounts to LWRCi's proprietary 7 inch handguard.. The IC PSD upper's handguard is removable via its two thumb screws, this gives quick access to the gas piston components for dissasembly and cleaning. All LWRC PSD Uppers Ship with a buffer, buffer spring, rail sections, sling mount and the tool with screws.
