LWRCi's PSD Pistol is outfitted with their own 1/7 twist cold hammer forged Heavy barrel with nitride treatment. This nitride barrel treatment last twice as long as standard chrome linning and out performs chrome linning in every way. Furthermore, it is outfitted with LWRC's super strong bolt carrier that is machined out of one piece of steel, this carrier has relief cuts machined in the rear of bolt carrier for water and debries to pass through it. Allowing the pistol to function normally even with water in the barrel and mag, perfect for water related missions. Also, all of the gas piston components have been nitrided treated, including the piston cup, spring and spring cup, as well as case hardened to ensure longevity of these parts that are subjected to extreme temperatures.

 LWRC IC-PSD 5.56 Pistol 8.5 inch comes with LWRCi's own monoforged upper receiver, featuring a solid 10 screw mounting system, this system securly mounts to their proprietary 7 inch handguard. The top of the PSD Pistol's handguard is removable via its two thumb screws, this allows easy access to all of the gas piston components for disassembly and cleaning. LWRC's PSD Pistol lower receiver is fully ambidextrious, it's the ambi controls accommodate either a right or left handed operator.
