LWRCi's A5 SBR is outfitted with their own 1/7 twist cold hammer forged heavy barrel with two way adjustable gas block. Its 10.5 inch heavy barrel is nitride treated, this treatment is much more durable than traditional chrome lining and out performs chrome lining in every aspec. LWRC's A5 SBR is also outfitted with their own two way adjustable gas block, this gas block is designed to reduce gas pressure while using a suppressor. It's adjustable gas key is marked S Up for use with a supressor or simply turn the gas key side ways for use without a suppressor. Furthermore the gas key has a 5.56 diameter hole machined in it for adjustment when the key is to hot to turn by hand. Every A5 Short Barrel Rifle is equipped with a one piece nickel boron coated bolt carrier, this advanced bolt carrier is machined out of one piece of steel and features relief cuts in the back of the bolt carrier for water submersion. These rearward relief cuts in the bolt carrier allow the operator to fire rounds through the barrel with water in the barrel, all excess water is cleared out of the rear of the bolt. This makes the A5 Rifle perfect for water related missions. All the A5 gas piston componets are nitrided treated, including the piston cup, spring and spring cup, they are also case hardened to ensure longevity of these parts that are subjected to extreme temperatures.

 This LWRC IC-A5 5.56 SBR 10.5 inch is outfitted with LWRCi's own monoforged upper receiver, featuring a solid 10 screw mounting system to their proprietary 9 inch handguard. The top of the A5 handguard is removable via two thumb screws, to eaisly access the gas piston components for cleaning. LWRC's IC A5 lower is fully ambidextrious and comes with a ambi sling adapter, the ambi controls are perfect for both right or left handed shooters.
